This effectively makes Dell's claim of making it so docks don't have a separate MAC false. It is only using the "pass through mac" which is different from the actual motherboard NIC. We purchased some Precision 7530s - which don't support this feature! They have pass through but I cannot configure it to use Integrated NIC. There is an option on the latitudes to use the integrated NIC - it is up to the user to make sure they don't plug in both at the same time - not a big deal to me. This is pretty misleading on Dell's part. This in my opinion is not actually a pass through as you will have 2 addresses unless you ALWAYS use a dock. So without changing any options you will still have 2 mac addresses, but the second mac will always be on the dock.

The default option for the Latitude 7490 systems is using a "pass through mac" which is on the motherboard but is not the same as the built in NIC MAC. Got my docks and stuff, doing some follow up.
